"Bring out the beauty from within ..."

Why hire Me? I am a Professional with an extensive education and a lot of experience. I will also personally serve you to the best of my ability in a private environment. Many people make the mistake of not even asking a stylist about their qualifications before having them touch their hair and then wonder how that person they hired made a mistake on them? If you are tired of paying for mistakes or not satisfied with the service you have been receiving hire differently this time. Let me begin by telling you what I have to offer you.

I started my undergraduate studies at MCC and earned both a BS in Business Administration and a MBA from Almeda College and University. I am a New York State Licensed Cosmetologist, a Graduate of Continental School of Beauty Culture, a Pivot Point Graduate in Scientific Approach to Hair Design and Hair Sculpture, a Certified Matrix Hair Colorist and Perm Artist, a Hair Fashion Institute Graduate with a Master's in Hair Color Marketing and Merchandising, Italian Certified, I have also obtained an International Correspondence School Graduate Diploma in Beauty Salon Management, Master Eyebrow Specialist Certification through Adriel International, and Certified Novalash Eyelash Extentionist. I developed my own professional Retail brands for my Salon and hold a Registered Trademark. My work for Locks of Love has been featured on the front page of the Living section in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle Newspaper. Currently, I am working on my PHD in Cosmetology Science, patents pending.

For over two decades I have studied under many Master's of Hair design from around the world. I have traveled to different states and countries to attend various classes and I am an established Platform Artist and Published Columnist. Locally I have attended the Rochester Color Conventions, International Beauty Shows in Toronto, Canada and Niagra Falls, NY, Syracuse Beauty Conventions, and Buffalo Beauty Shows. I have taught classes and continues to teach both in the salon and outside of the salon. I teach and lecture about various aspects of the Salon Business including but not limited to Hair Color, Make-up/Skin Care Classes, general Cosmetology to students, clients, and other licensed professionals in the field. I have been a key note speaker at Northstar Christian Academy for a High School business class and at East Ridge High School Career Days Classes. Recently, I taught an intro to the salon business for Home School students at a local LEAH group in Brockport, NY. I participated as a guest interviewer for Kendall High School's Senior Career Day.

I am known as "The Country Colorist" to many and I design signature hair color and make-up.
In addition to locally made lines, my salon also carries only the best American Owned perm, straigntening, and color lines.

As a child I grew up around many family members in the hair industry. Before owning my own small business my work experience includes working from the ground up. I worked for other small businesses as well as many major coporporations. I opened my own salon in 1996 with the goal of treating each clients a I would want to be treated. In a personal, private, and professional manner.
